A leading pharma company expected their production volume to double over the next five years. In order to successfully handle the increase, they contracted Miebach Consulting to develop a customized concept for a logistics and production supply whose components were designed for a three-shift operation as well as being automated. The design included the new logistics center, a driverless transport system, a shuttle system for the supply of clean room areas and the mandatory material air locks.
