An OEM was pursuing its goal of ensuring smooth and cost-effective logistical integration of derivatives into its own factories through interdisciplinary planning. The increasing number of new launches occurring in parallel in multiple factories was, however, very difficult to manage with the existing organizational and system infrastructure.
