The major shareholder of a retail chain wanted to audit the current operation and intended set-up of logistics system. A major task was to examine the assumptions for financial and operational plans for the next year and to identify risks related to logistics operation during peak seasons. Miebach Consulting redesigned a distribution center to meet all the customers’ requirements. One of the project results was to keep the transport fleet in-house.
