A regional producer of buses and trucks contracted Miebach Consulting to design a new spare parts distribution center in order to split the operation from car and light trucks channels. Different market needs and service levels as well as different sizes and shapes of the items were the reasons for the split. Miebach prepared the masterplan for the new DC and defined a list of actions to improve current operation productivity until the new DC was available.
