Rainer Schulz is Director and joined Miebach in 1992.
He started in Germany and quickly developed a focus on strategy, concept design and outsourcing before stepping into the role of Executive Vice President for our U.S. office in 1997.
After becoming a partner in 1998, Rainer returned to Germany as a member of our management team to oversee after-sales services. In 2003, he was appointed Managing Director of Miebach Switzerland and held this position until July 2025, when he handed over to his successor, Volker Oschlies. He is now part of the Swiss management team as Director of Digitalization and Automation.
Rainer holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics from HS Karlsruhe and University of Sunderland.
