• Analysis of the customer requirements based on the as-is situation, future (growth) requirements and specific industry best practices
• Development of a technical concept- and detailed design, including an assessment on the financial impact (business case, NPV, …)
• You will be responsible for the whole RFQ process toward material handling equipment suppliers
• You will support in the implementation, commissioning and ramp up of the designed solution

• You have obtained a degree as an industrial or civil engineer
• You have an experience of at least 3 years in logistics warehouse design/engineering or you have worked in a similar environment
• Experience with material handling equipment suppliers is a strong asset
• You like to work in a project oriented environment and have consequently strong project management skills
• You are result driven and customer oriented business and having an empathetic approach when necessary
• You are analytical, creative and well organized
• You have strong communication and presentation skills
• You are familiar with computer-aided design tools
• You have developed good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• You have excellent verbal and written knowledge of Dutch/English and/or French, or are determined to improve thee skills

• Involvement in state-of the-art and large investment logistics projects, from design until implementation (e.g. new distribution centers, redesign of existing facilities)
• Involvement in technology R&D activities, applied within logistics (robotics, artificial intelligence, overall new technologies)
